BGC STARZ performed at Huntsville Intermediate School Pep Rally last Friday and stole the show!  And from this performance they have been invited to perform during half time at the SHSU Women’s Basketball game(s).  The next schedule performance for both step teams is December 3rd, Huntsville Robotics Competition at Huntsville High School.

It takes these young Club members a ton of discipline and dedication to be as good as they are!  We are extremely proud of them…hard work does pay off!

Power Hour allows each child the opportunity to finish homework and/or receive tutorials plus read for twenty minutes as recommended by the school district.   Parents are grateful their children’s homework is already completed by the time they pick them up and they have family time in the evenings again.  The additional homework time and tutorials has improved our Club member’s daily grades, test scores and grade promotion rate.

What an IMPACT for our youth and our community!

We were so impressed with her work that we decided to get her thoughts on why she enjoys being apart of the Boys & Girls Club…

“I love the Boys & Girls Club because it’s fun, I get to be with my friends, and my mom doesn’t have to pick me up some soon.”
